In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. King will attempt to improve on its 7-17 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 16-11 record after their 67-30 league loss to Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX).
