Texas High School Basketball - Joaquin triumphant over Waskom

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Joaquin Rams (Joaquin, TX) and the visiting Waskom Wildcats (Waskom, TX), observed Joaquin's basketball team overwhelm Waskom by a score of 68-9.

The Rams (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Bearcats come into the 2A Region III District 23 challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Beckville was routed by Tenaha (Tenaha, TX), 80-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Timpson Bears (Timpson, TX) in a 2A Region III District 23 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Waskom will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 48-16 league win over Gary (Gary, TX).
