Georgia High School Basketball - Stephenson nips Westlake

Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA), 73-71 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Stephenson upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Jaguars host Mays (Atlanta, GA) to play the Raiders in a AAAA Region 6 bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Mays lost 55-43 in their recent non-league bout against Midtown (Atlanta, GA)
Next up, the Lions play the North Atlanta Warriors (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Westlake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 100-23 league loss to Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA).
