The Academy with Community Partners Lions (Mesa, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Phoenix School of Academic Excellence (Phoenix, AZ), 70-39 in Monday's league test.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their test against New Way Learning Academy (Scottsdale, AZ). The Bulldogs go into the Canyon Division 1 - Roadrunner test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, New Way Learning Academy walloped 91st Psalm Christian School (Phoenix, AZ), 53-28, in a non-league test.

The now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Brighton Charter for a Canyon Division 1 - Mountain test on Thursday, January 4.
