With the win, Beren Academy upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The travel to Brazosport Christian (Lake Jackson, TX) to play the Eagles in a TAPPS 1A District 8 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the play the Baytown Christian Bulldogs (Baytown, TX) in a TAPPS 1A District 8 bout, on Thursday, December 7. Memorial Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 65-42 league loss to Second Baptist University-Model (Houston, TX).
