Virginia High School Basketball - Brookville can't hold off Gretna

The Gretna Hawks basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the host Brookville Bees to 29 in the Hawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Hawks now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tunstall for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Gretna will battle a Trojans team coming off a 78-68 non-league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
The Bees (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Red Devils come into the Seminole contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Rustburg edged Altavista (Altavista, VA), 71-64, in a non-league contest.
