Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Canoga Park Hunters (Canoga Park, CA), 43-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Van Nuys upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Wolves travel to San Fernando (San Fernando, CA) to play the Tigers in a Valley Mission bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-4. San Fernando won 74-24 in their recent non-league bout against Vaughn (San Fernando, CA)

Next up, the Hunters play the de Toledo Jaguars (West Hills, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Canoga Park will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 74-70 non-league loss to California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA).
