The Curlew Cougars (Curlew, WA) basketball knocked off the host Columbia Lions (Hunters, WA), 76-67 in Monday's league test.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Northport (Northport, WA). The Mustangs go into the 1B Northeast test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Northport went down by Mary Walker (Springdale, WA), 61-54, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Inchelium for a 1B Northeast test on Friday, December 8. Columbia will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 61-56 league win over Wellpinit (Wellpinit, WA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-2.
