The Lamar Warriors basketball team (Lamar, AR), was nudged 39-36 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Ozark Hillbillies (Ozark, AR)
The Hillbillies now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Van Buren for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. Ozark will battle a Pointers team coming off a 74-44 non-league win over Bergman (Bergman, AR). The Pointers record now stands at 4-3.
The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Perryville (Perryville, AR). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region 5 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Perryville edged Guy-Perkins (Guy, AR), 50-24, in a non-league battle.
