In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes basketball team scored a good 73-61 triumph over the Loganville Red Devils.
In their next game, the Purple Hurricanes meet the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 9. Monroe Area will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record.
With the defeat, Loganville moves to 2-4 on the year. The Red devils travel to Eastside (Covington, GA) to meet the Eagles in a AAAAA Region 8 match on Friday, December 8. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-2. Eastside lost 55-52 in their recent non-league match against Alcovy (Covington, GA)
