The Poland Tornadoes (Poland, NY) basketball felled the host Remsen Rams (Remsen, NY), 61-49 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tornadoes (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Morrisville-Eaton (Morrisville, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 3 Center State IV test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Morrisville-Eaton was beaten by Charlotte Valley (Davenport, NY), 55-51, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Rams clash with the Poland Tornadoes (Poland, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Remsen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
