Stigler Panthers (Stigler, OK) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Westville Yellowjackets (Westville, OK), 51-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Stigler upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Heavener (Heavener, OK) to play the Wolves in a Black Diamond bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Heavener won 63-31 in their recent non-league bout against Union Christian Academy (Fort Smith, AR)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Colcord Hornets (Colcord, OK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Westville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
