Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL), 33-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ashton-Franklin Center upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Raiders host Amboy (Amboy, IL) to play the Clippers in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South bout on Thursday, December 7. The Clippers come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Amboy lost 35-24 in their recent league bout against Eastland (Lanark, IL)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Milledgeville Missiles (Milledgeville, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South bout, on Monday, December 11. Forreston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
