Burgin Bulldogs (Burgin, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lynn Camp Wildcats (Corbin, KY), 47-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Burgin upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Model (Richmond, KY) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Model lost 42-32 in their recent non-league bout against Williamstown (Williamstown, KY)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Williamsburg Yellowjackets (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Lynn Camp will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 78-55 non-league loss to Barbourville (Barbourville, KY).
