The Burrell Bucs basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Valley Vikings to 4 in the Bucs non-league victory on Monday.
The Bucs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southmoreland for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Burrell will battle a Scotties team coming off a 57-10 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA). The Scotties record now stands at 0-2.
The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Leechburg (Leechburg, PA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Leechburg was routed by Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA), 40-21, in a non-league contest.
