The South Point Pointers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Dawson-Bryant Hornets to 37 in the Pointers league triumph on Monday.
The Pointers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chesapeake for a Ohio Valley contest on Thursday, December 7. South Point will battle a Panthers team coming off a 42-40 league loss to Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Fighting Tigers enter the Ohio Valley contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Ironton triumphed over Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH), 42-40, in a league contest.
