The N.C. School for the Deaf Bears (Morganton, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets (Spartanburg, SC), 44-26 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their test against New Manna Christian (Marion, NC). The Wind go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record.
The Hornets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Calhoun Falls Charter for a A Region 2 test on Thursday, December 7. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind will encounter a Blue Flashes squad coming off a 47-30 non-league loss to Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA). The Blue Flashes record now stands at 0-3.
