Redlands East Valley Wildcats (Redlands, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Twentynine Palms Wildcats (Twentynine Palms, CA), 60-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Redlands East Valley upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Serrano (Phelan, CA) to play the Diamondbacks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Diamondbacks come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Serrano won 36-27 in their recent non-league bout against Twentynine Palms (Twentynine Palms, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Twentynine Palms will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 45-25 non-league win over Imperial (Imperial, CA).
