West Virginia High School Ice Hockey - Wheeling Central Catholic defeated by Blackhawk

In Monday's league challenge, the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) ice hockey team the host Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV), by a margin of 6-3.
The Cougars now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beaver for a PIHL Class A Blue challenge on Thursday, December 14. Blackhawk will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 10-3 league win over Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-5.
The Maroon Knights (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Colts enter the PIHL Class A Blue challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Chartiers Valley tipped Moon Area (Moon Township, PA), 8-1, in a league challenge.
