Avon Park Red Devils (Avon Park, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL), 87-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Avon Park upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Booker (Sarasota, FL) to play the Tornadoes in a bout on Friday, December 8. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Booker lost 56-48 in their recent non-league bout against Sarasota (Sarasota, FL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Hardee Wildcats (Wauchula, FL) in a bout, on Thursday, December 7. DeSoto County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
