The Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) basketball felled the host Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), 33-17 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Fort Chiswell thwarted Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA), 45-11, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Alleghany for a non-league test on Thursday, December 7. Grayson County will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 39-36 non-league loss to Galax (Galax, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-5.
