The Emerald Vikings basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting McCormick Chiefs to 41 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.
The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ninety Six for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Emerald will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 46-39 non-league loss to McCormick (McCormick, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
The Chiefs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Ninety Six nudged Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC), 37-15, in a non-league contest.
