The Union Spartans basketball team (Rose Hill, NC), was routed 56-35 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC)
The Raiders now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Creek for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 6. Midway will battle a Gators team coming off a 63-11 non-league loss to Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC). The Gators record now stands at 0-4.
The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Jones (Trenton, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Jones trounced Union (Rose Hill, NC), 55-36, in a non-league battle.
