North Carolina High School Basketball - Shining Rock Classical Academy succumbs to Blue Ridge Early College

December 4, 2024: Waynesville, NC

In Wednesday's non-league test, the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC) basketball squad defeated the host Shining Rock Classical Academy Falcons (Waynesville, NC), by a final score of 43-35.

Next, the Bobcats clash with the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 6. Blue Ridge Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Maroon Devils come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 73-72 non-league loss to Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC).

The Falcons (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy went down by Challenger (Hickory, NC), 61-45, in a league test.
