In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Chaska Hawks basketball team scored a close 67-62 triumph over the Shakopee Sabers.
The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Lakeville South nipped Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN), 76-63, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Sabers confront the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Shakopee will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Red Knights go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 96-76 non-league win over Richfield (Richfield, MN).
