The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL) and the host West Port Wolf Pack (Ocala, FL), observed Crystal River's basketball team edge West Port by a score of 49-47.
The Pirates (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hernando (Brooksville, FL). The Leopards come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Hernando edged Citrus (Inverness, FL), 64-56, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolf Pack encounter the North Marion Colts (Citra, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. West Port will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 73-60 non-league win over Forest (Ocala, FL).
