In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Warren Easton Fighting Eagles basketball team scored a good 66-49 win over the Salmen Spartans.

The Fighting Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Rams enter the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Carver Collegiate Academy was dropped by Newman (New Orleans, LA), 66-54, in a non-league match.

The Spartans now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Ascension for a non-league match on Monday, December 9. Salmen will face a Spartans squad coming off a 72-39 non-league win over IDEA Bridge (Baton Rouge, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-0.
