The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Galax (Galax, VA). The Maroon Tide come into the Mountain Empire challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Galax trounced Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA), 50-13, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders encounter the William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Glenvar will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Terriers come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 32-27 non-league win over Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA).
