In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Matanzas Pirates basketball team scored a good 48-32 triumph over the Father Lopez Green Wave.
The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Seabreeze (Daytona Beach, FL). The Sandcrabs go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Seabreeze topped Trinity Christian Academy (Deltona, FL), 55-10, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Green Wave confront the Master's Academy Eagles (Oviedo, FL) in a 2A District 4 contest, on Friday, December 6. Father Lopez will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 44-27 non-league loss to Calvary Christian Academy (Ormond Beach, FL).
