In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Gray's Creek Bears basketball team scored a good 40-22 triumph over the Red Springs Red Devils.
The Bears (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, East Bladen topped North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 67-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils confront the Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Red Springs will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 51-29 non-league win over Harnett Central (Angier, NC).
