California High School Basketball - Junipero Serra holds off Archbishop Riordan

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Junipero Serra Padres basketball team scored a close 47-44 triumph over the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders.
The Padres (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Menlo School was tipped by Aptos (Aptos, CA), 48-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders confront the Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Archbishop Riordan will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
