The Mt. Baker Mountaineers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Orcas Island Vikings to 24 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mountaineers now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Friday Harbor for a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. Mt. Baker will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 67-20 non-league loss to Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Orcas Island falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Blaine (Blaine, WA) to confront the Borderites in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Borderites go into the game with a record of 2-0. Blaine won 67-20 in their recent non-league game against Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA)
