Arkansas High School Basketball - Mineral Springs succumbs to Lafayette County

The Lafayette County Cougars defeated the host Mineral Springs Hornets basketball squad by a final score of 72-58 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Columbia Christian Crusaders (Magnolia, AR) in a 1A Region 8 outing, on Friday, December 5. Lafayette County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Crusaders come into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 55-51 league loss to Hermitage (Hermitage, AR).

With the loss, Mineral Springs falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Harmony Grove (Benton, AR) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
