New Mexico High School Basketball - Manzano knocks off St. Pius X

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) and the host St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), witnessed Manzano's basketball squad run past St. Pius X by a count of 61-50.

With the victory, Manzano advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Belen (Belen, NM) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, December 5. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Belen lost 53-51 in their recent non-league contest against Valley (Albuquerque, NM)

In their next game, the Sartans battle the Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 5. St. Pius X will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
