The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Santa Gertrudis Academy knocked off John Paul II (Corpus Christi, TX), 36-18, in a non-league battle.

The Mavericks now own a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hidalgo Early College for a non-league battle on Friday, December 5. Winn will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 73-26 non-league loss to Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 1-9.
