In Thursday's league bout, the Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL) basketball team crushed the host Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), by a tally of 60-32.
The Tigers now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale for a Three Rivers - West bout on Thursday, December 11.
With the loss, Orion moves to 3-3 on the season. The Chargers travel to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to encounter the Comets in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 8. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Newman Central Catholic won 82-14 in their recent league challenge against Mendota (Mendota, IL)
