Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), 44-22 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Oxford Prep upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Griffins travel to Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, December 8. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 3-2.
With the loss, River Mill falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC) to clash with the Wolves in a Central Tar Heel 1A outing on Tuesday, December 9. The Wolves enter the outing with a record of 4-3. Woods Charter lost 37-30 in their recent non-league outing against Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC)
