The The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX), 67-14 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Highlanders now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mabank for a non-league test on Friday, December 5. The Woodlands will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 54-35 non-league win over Poth (Poth, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-5.

The Greyhounds (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Smithville (Smithville, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Smithville bounced Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX), 57-43, in a non-league test.
