The Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Middleburgh Knights to 36 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Monday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons for a Section 2 Western - Hudson contest on Wednesday, December 7. Berne-Knox-Westerlo will meet a Golden Knights team coming off a 65-49 non-league loss to Lansingburgh (Troy, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 0-1.

The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fonda-Fultonville (Fonda, NY). The Braves enter the Section 2 Western - Hudson contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Fonda-Fultonville triumphed over South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY), 45-42, in a non-league contest.
