The Sandoval Blackhawks (Sandoval, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Elverado Falcons (Elkville, IL), 49-37 in Monday's non-league test.
The Blackhawks (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Grayville (Grayville, IL). The Bison go into the Midland Trail test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Grayville went down by Wayne City (Wayne City, IL), 67-44, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Joppa-Maple Grove for a South Egyptian test on Tuesday, December 6. Elverado will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 68-40 league win over Dongola (Dongola, IL). The Rangers record now stands at 2-1.
