With the win, Morenci upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Willcox (Willcox, AZ) to clash with the Cowboys in a 2A East bout on Thursday, December 8. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Willcox won 45-25 in their recent non-league bout against Patagonia (Patagonia, AZ)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Valley Union will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 50-38 non-league win over San Miguel (Tucson, AZ).
