The North Central Jets (Powers, MI) basketball felled the visiting Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI), 49-38 in Monday's non-league test.
The Jets (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Rapid River (Rapid River, MI). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Rapid River thwarted Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI), 56-51, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Munising for a Central Upper Peninsula test on Thursday, December 8.
