South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA), 67-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Central Calhoun upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Titans travel to Webster City (Webster City, IA) to clash with the Lynx in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Northwest Webster will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 91-58 league win over Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA).
