Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH), 57-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monroe Central upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Seminoles travel to Caldwell (Caldwell, OH) to play the Redskins in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Shamrocks play the Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH) in a Buckeye 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Barnesville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
