The Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), 56-27 in Monday's league test.
The Thunderbirds (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Kays go into the Southland test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Kankakee walloped Thornton (Harvey, IL), 69-29, in a league test.
The Blazing Trojan now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Kankakee for a Southland test on Thursday, December 8. Bloom will encounter a Kays squad coming off a 58-35 league loss to Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Kays record now stands at 4-7.
