Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors (Roanoke, VA), 67-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Carlisle upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Chiefs travel to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-4. High Point Christian Academy won 53-37 in their recent non-league bout against Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC)

Next up, the Conquerors play the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) in a VISAA Old Dominion bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Southwest Virginia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 47-37 non-league win over Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA).
