The Franklinville Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Fillmore Eagles to 47 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pioneer for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Franklinville will battle a Panthers team coming off a 36-31 non-league loss to Portville (Portville, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Genesee Valley (Belmont, NY). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Genesee Valley edged Avoca Central (Avoca, NY), 47-18, in a non-league contest.
