In Monday's non-league outing, the Grant Tigers (Grant, MI) basketball squad beat the host Whitehall Vikings (Whitehall, MI), by a count of 53-43.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeview (Lakeview, MI). The Wildcats go into the Central State outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Lakeview defeated Hesperia (Hesperia, MI), 58-30, in a non-league outing.
The Vikings now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Montague for a Western Michigan outing on Thursday, December 8. Whitehall will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 45-31 non-league loss to Spring Lake (Spring Lake, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
