Illinois High School Basketball - Herscher can't hold off Peotone

The Peotone Blue Devils basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Herscher Tigers to 46 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Monday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reed-Custer for a Illinois Central 8 contest on Thursday, December 8. Peotone will battle a Comets team coming off a 43-28 non-league loss to Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL). The Comets record now stands at 5-5.
The Tigers (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Iroquois West (Gilman, IL). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Iroquois West was nudged by Watseka (Watseka, IL), 34-24, in a league contest.
