The Pierce County Bears basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Jeff Davis Yellowjackets to 10 in the Bears non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bears now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lanier County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Pierce County will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 44-20 non-league loss to Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
The Yellowjackets (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Telfair County (McRae, GA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Telfair County was routed by Treutlen (Soperton, GA), 59-53, in a league contest.
